Summer Soap
Everything I love about summer, in a soap - with bug-repelling essential oils!
This soap has very light scrubby qualities due to the addition of calendula petals and crushed lavender buds.
Soap base: saponified olive, coconut, palm & castor oils
Other ingredients:
Shea butter - known to moisturize and nourish the skin; reduces inflammation smoothes the skin
Goat milk - known to alleviate dry or sensitive skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis; contains alpha hydroxy acids which can help remove dead cells from the skin; its high fat content helps hydrate the skin and contains vitamins A and B2
Therapeutic grade lemongrass essential oil- known as an antidepressant; has antimicrobial, antiseptic and astringent properties; used as a deodorant, fungicide, and insecticide; relieves muscle pain and reduces body aches
Therapeutic grade cedarwood essential oil- known to prevent wounds from infection; has anti-inflammatory effects on arthritis; natural insecticide and fungicide
Therapeutic grade lavender essential oil - known to reduce anxiety and emotional stress; heals burns and wounds; improves sleep; restores skin complexion and reduces acne; slows aging with powerful antioxidants; improves eczema and psoriasis; alleviates headaches
Therapeutic lemon eucalyptus essential oil - known to prevent mosquito and deer tick bites and may help with treating muscle spasms, toenail fungus and joint painOrganic honey - prevents growth of bacteria; smoothes the skin; protects skin from sun damage; adds to lather of the soap
dried calendula - known to moisturize dry, split and chapped skin; soothes pain and reduces inflammation
