Alpaca Felted Soap
Last year we rescued two lovely alpaca, Sugar (20 years old) & Spice (18 years old). We quickly added Candy (10 years old) to our herd to help out the old ladies. Now that we had them sheared, I discovered a unique way to use their fiber!
Alpaca fiber is non-microbial, hypoallergenic, anti-fungal and just all around wonderful! It contains no lanolin like a sheep's wool, and is very gentle on your skin.
Felted soap works like a washcloth with gentle exfoliation. You wet the entire bar of soap and you'll notice the lather working as you rub it through your hands. As soon as it's all lathered up, wash with it as normal and put it on a shelf or soap rest to dry.
When the soap runs out, you can keep the alpaca felt to use with a new bar of soap!
The color of the felt will vary from Spice: Brown to Sugar: Fading Fawn to Candy: White. If you specify your preference in the notes to me during checkout, I'll try to ship your preferred color if possible.
Soap Essential Oils: Elemi & Orange
